学位和专业衔接用in还是of？
用 of， 这里把学位比喻成房间（或宿舍），而专业是其中的一个房间。如果问「这个宿舍里有多少个人？」应该用 how many people are there in the room？而不是 how many rooms are there in the person？虽然从语法上完全正确；但这样的表达太不可思议了！ 类似的，如果把学位比喻成一条鱼，那这条鱼有多大（能提供多少重量）呢？应该问 How much does this fish weigh 而不是How much weight is this fish？尽管后者在语法上是正确的，但你绝对不可以在现实生活中这样问。
当然，这里只是用了比喻，其实英语中有很多词组都使用了 in 和 of 的固定搭配，来表示「... 的某物」的意思。这些词语在日常生活交流中非常常见。

the name of the street 这街道的名字
